Rapper Offset has been hospitalized after being shot outside a casino in Florida, US, with police arresting two people in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the artist, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was shot Monday in the valet parking lot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
His spokesperson confirmed that he is currently in the hospital receiving treatment and is in stable condition, while being closely monitored by doctors.
Details about the cause of the incident were not immediately released. However, the Seminole Police Department said two people have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
Police added that the area is safe and there is no threat to the public, with business continuing as usual.
The incident is reminiscent of the death of former Migos rapper Takeoff, who died in 2022 at the age of 28 after being shot outside a bowling alley in Houston.
