Mohsin Naqvi Biography
Mohsin Naqvi (1947 – 1996) was a prominent Urdu poet from Pakistan, known for his ghazals, nazms and poems with strong emotions of love, sorrow and social issues. He was born in the city of Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, where from childhood he showed a special talent for composing poetry.
Naqvi received his higher education in literature and went on to become a writer with great appeal to readers and lovers of the art of words. His poems were known for their simplicity of language and depth of emotion, combining personal love with social pain. This made him one of the most widely read poets in Urdu literature.
