Famous movie star Tom Cruise has recently entered the Guinness Book of World Records after jumping out of a helicopter 16 times while his parachute was on fire.
Tom recently achieved the feat while filming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025).
The star jumped out of a helicopter 16 times while strapped to a parachute soaked in oil before it ignited.
No other actor or stuntman has come close to achieving such a feat of death-defying feat.
“Tom doesn’t just star in action movies – he’s an action hero himself,” says Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records.
“A large part of his success can be attributed to his unwavering focus on realism and pushing the boundaries of what a leading man can do.”
“It is an honor to be able to recognize his fearlessness with this new Guinness World Records title.”
Said Craig Glenday.
